Background: The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC, a Japanese governmental agency for foreign aid) conducted a survey to examine the recovery of enterprises from the Asian crisis. The data was collected from December 1999 to February 2000 in Thailand, together with Malaysia. Coverage: The survey in Thailand covers 735 manufacturing firms. The questionnaire focuses on financial issues and mostly multiple-choice type.
